Job Summary

Ray Graham Association is seeking a dedicated Support Professional to join our team in the CILA Homes program. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct support and oversight to individuals with developmental disabilities in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and supervision to individuals in our CILA Homes program locations
  • Assist individuals in skill building, community integration, and experiential learning
  • Monitor and promptly address health and safety concerns
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure individual needs are met effectively

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Successful completion of HealthCare Worker Background Check
  • Possession of a valid IL Driver's License
  • Capable of safely lifting and transferring individuals up to 75 lbs
  • Positive and personable demeanor
  • Submission of a Motor Vehicle Report from the Secretary of State and passing pre-employment drug screening
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Flexibility and adaptability to individual needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning
  • Experience with behavior management techniques
  • Training in medication administration
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care
