About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Accounting Expertise
    • Interpret and apply complex accounting standards, including GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant frameworks.
    • Analyze and assess the impact of new accounting standards and regulations on the company's financial statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide technical support in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
  • Policy Implementation
    • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
    • Ensure consistent application of accounting principles across the organization.
  • Audit and Compliance
    • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Address and resolve audit findings and recommendations related to technical accounting issues.
  • Advisory and Training
    • Provide technical guidance and training to finance and accounting staff on accounting standards and procedures.
    • Serve as a point of contact for technical accounting inquiries from various departments.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and financial reporting.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in technical accounting.
