Master Plumber Apprentice

We are seeking a Master Plumber Apprentice to join our team at Upchurch Companies. As a key member of our logistics and operations department, you will be responsible for assembling and installing plumbing systems, including various components, styles of threading, and materials (brass, copper, plastic, lead, and glass).

You will troubleshoot and repair pipe and pipeline systems, review and comprehend plans based on blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures. These include proper and scaled orientations of components, use of correct materials, and proper implementation of procedures for both new installs and renovated systems: threading, caulking, wiping, soldering, brazening, fusing, cementing and securing with clamps, brackets, and hangers.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related fields, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to read blueprints and schematics, handle physical workload, and possess strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
