Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of the CCS Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs and supervises the work of the warehouse team, including receiving, handling, storing, picking, loading, unloading, and packing of products for construction projects.
  • Ensures the overall inventory control of the warehouse meets or exceeds its financial objectives through weekly cycle counting and monitoring of receivers and bill of materials.
  • Collaborates with Department Leaders, project engineers, and Site Superintendents to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs, and long lead delivery times.
  • Reviews project Bills of Materials (BoMs) or plans to determine estimated job costs, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Anticipates project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay of production.
  • Establishes work plans and staffing for each phase of projects, working closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to ensure product is ready when needed according to project timelines.
  • Leads an effective warehouse team, defining and delegating responsibilities, and setting goals.
  • Resolves office and grounds maintenance issues, and other problems that may arise.
  • Maintains CCS/MPI mobile assets, including company trucks, cars, and lift assist devices.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a related field, or a related combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience.
  • Excellent oral presentation and written skills.
  • Goal-oriented, able to set goals and achieve them.
  • Interpersonal skills, able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels.
  • Compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations, or zoning for required work.
  • Clear logical written, verbal, and communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cooperate and work as a team.
  • Leader that seeks and accepts responsibility and leads by example.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
