Role Summary:
The Business Architect will be responsible for designing and refining business processes to ensure they are in harmony with the company's strategic objectives.

  • Strategic Development: Partner with senior leadership to formulate and execute business strategies and models.
  • Process Evaluation: Assess business workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and create enhanced solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into architectural specifications.
  • Architectural Design: Construct business architecture frameworks that align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation of business architecture, including capability models, value streams, and process diagrams.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that business strategies and IT initiatives are in sync.
  • Change Facilitation: Evaluate the effects of changes on business processes and systems, aiding in change management initiatives.
  • Innovation Promotion: Discover opportunities for innovation and foster continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and address risks related to business architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 9-15 years in business architecture, business analysis, or similar roles.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling and analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Knowledge of Agile and other project management methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of information systems and their integration into business processes.
  • Mandatory expertise in Insurance.
  • Preferred knowledge of Guidewire.
