Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Trenton, North Carolina.

About the Role

As an SLP or SLPA, you will diagnose, assess, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and assess communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric and adult clients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (for SLP)
  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in North Carolina (for SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (for SLP)
  • Associates degree or certificate in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance from an accredited institution (for SLPA)
  • Completion of supervised clinical training or internships (for SLPA)
