Barback - Circle Bar

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Barback to join our team at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. As a Barback, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional beverage service to our guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

• Develop and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among guests and staff.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty drinks, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with the bar team to ensure seamless service, maintaining a high level of communication and teamwork.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall success of the resort, supporting colleagues and management in achieving goals and objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a guest service role or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of beverage service procedures, including responsible alcohol service and cash handling.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
