Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain physical or mental functioning and adjust to their handicaps. You will plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in a variety of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach patients skills and techniques required for participation in activities
  • Study and evaluate patient reactions to the program and prepare progress reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy; Bachelors degree required
Knowledgeable of the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics and the Guide to Occupational Therapy Practice. Excellent communication skills
New graduates accepted; experience preferred
Current license by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners
CPR - American Heart Association
