Job Overview

As a Paramedic with AMR in Rancho Cucamonga, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills to provide high-quality medical care in emergency situations.


About the Role
  • Assess call situations and utilize advanced medical equipment to provide compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as team leader and take responsibility for scene management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
  • Collaborate with fellow Paramedics to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A Ca Drivers' License
  • An Ambulance Driver's License from DMV
  • A Medical Examiner's Card from DMV
  • A State of California Paramedic License
  • A CPR Card from American Heart Association
  • ACLS Card from American Heart Association
  • A Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
  • ICS courses completion, including IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B
  • Some past work experience in healthcare, preferably

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $27.14 - $51.08 per hour, based on experience. This rate applies to 12-hr shifts with an average of 20 or 49 hours per week. This position is bonus eligible.
