About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Covenant Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operating room sterile field and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the operating room sterile field to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, ensuring proper aseptic technique is utilized.
  • Assist the registered nurse with circulating duties, providing support and care to patients during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
  • National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire, Or
  • National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
