About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder, a leading provider of transportation and logistics solutions. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
  • Replace defective components and perform preventive maintenance
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
