Occupational Therapy Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our part-time team at Renewal Rehab in Wellesley, MA. As a COTA, you will work closely with our experienced OTs to provide comprehensive treatment to patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
  • Assist OT in identifying patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
  • Document patient progress and obtain co-signature of the OTR.
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
  • Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated COTA (if state mandated).
  • COTA holds a current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
