Job Description

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as vacuum trucks and roll-off trucks to transport hazardous waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT and FMCSA guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records, including ELD logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of response vehicles and assigned trucks.
  • Participate in emergency response calls and perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current California Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment driving and operation.
