Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, and haul trucks. This role offers a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Adapt to changing environments, including traffic, soil conditions, and weather
- Utilize GPS systems to read and understand grade stakes and hubs for grade control and finishing

Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience operating heavy machinery
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in operating various types of heavy equipment
- Extensive earthwork and grading experience utilizing machinery for tasks such as mass earthwork, loading, placing materials, compacting, and fine grading
- Proven utility experience using machinery for tasks including trench excavation, setting pipe, appurtenances, and structures, implementing shoring processes, and systems
- Ability to operate each machine safely while maintaining situational awareness at all times
- Skilled in recognizing and addressing mechanical issues related to engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems
