Compensation: $16.50 - $20 based on experience.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Role Summary:
The Billing and Reimbursement Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the authorization process for Medicaid and the Department of Mental Health (DMH). This position involves identifying and rectifying authorization discrepancies and diligently working through daily reports to ensure accurate billing for services rendered. Initial training will be conducted onsite, transitioning to a remote work environment after a period of 1-2 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and submit authorization requests to Medicaid and DMH.
- Identify and correct any authorization discrepancies.
- Analyze daily reports to rectify errors that may hinder proper billing.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with the Oklahoma Medicaid website is advantageous.
- Typing speed of 45+ words per minute.
- Access to the internet at home.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
