Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine the need for intervention.
  • Establish a comprehensive plan of care and set treatment goals that are functional, measurable, and patient-related.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families/caregivers to set appropriate treatment goals.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans that consider patients' physical, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and age-specific needs.
  • Provide skilled treatment in a safe manner and initiate discharge planning, including recommending modifications to referring orders when necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Licensure: Must hold or be able to obtain an Alaska state license prior to starting.
  • Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
