Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
- Oversee and guide clinical employees that are under your supervision.
- May be required to travel for work purposes.
- Demonstrate service excellence in accordance with UVVC standards at all times.
- Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with UVVC's Standards of Conduct as outlined in our Employee Handbook.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting (Cath Lab/IR Lab ER, ICU, CVICU, PACU).
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Conscious Sedation experience preferred.
- Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state to which you are applying.
