Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction through precise plate presentation and cooking according to Denny's standards and customer preferences.
  • Promptly notify management of any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or shortages of ingredients.
  • Prepare ingredients following recipes and company standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards, including proper food storage, rotation, portioning, and punctuality.

  • Complete all necessary paperwork, side work, inventory, and daily cleaning tasks.
  • Handle busy service periods while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during peak service times.
  • Reach heights of approximately 5 feet and depths of 2 to 3 feet.
  • Exhibit a high level of mobility and flexibility in the kitchen.
  • Capable of working irregular hours and under significant pressure.
  • Engage in bending, reaching, and walking.
  • Lift and carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Work in varying temperatures, both hot and cold.
  • Possess sufficient mobility to navigate the kitchen area.
  • Practice safe work habits and have knowledge of food handling chemicals.
  • Meet any local regulations regarding food safety and handling.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
