Dental Care Coordinator Specialist

Job Summary:
The Native American Community Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Coordinator to lead our dental department and make a meaningful difference in addressing oral health disparities within the community we serve.
This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, culturally competent dental care and a passion for program development and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental care coordination duties, including preparing and processing prior authorizations, explaining insurance benefit limitations, and handling patient complaints and questions.
- Reconcile routing slips, collect and sort them, and review them for accuracy.
- Manage referrals, review EPIC referral inbox, and process referrals accordingly.
- Process dental records requests, ensure accurate and timely completion of authorization forms, and encrypt and export dental records.
- Coordinate requests for proposed dental procedures, verify coverage, research costs, and submit data to the dental clinic manager and director for review.
- Provide backup support for the dental front desk, assist with generating computer-generated documents, and process credit card and cash register payments.
