The Travel CT Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients. This position requires expertise in CT imaging and a commitment to patient care.
Certification Requirements- Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited AMA program and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Must possess Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.
- Current State License as a general radiographer is required.
- Immediate availability is necessary.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the specialty is essential.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is expected.
- The technologist will be responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the guidance of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Key responsibilities include adjusting imaging parameters to evaluate soft tissue, the arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the use of contrast media.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- ARRT certification in MRI, CT, and X-ray is mandatory.
- Shift: Evenings; Monday to Friday (2:30 PM - 11 PM).
- Rotating call: 1-2 nights per week; 1-2 weekends per month.
