We are seeking a Junior Research Scientist to assist in advancing Zillow's mission through science-driven projects focused on enhancing user experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Develop innovative, science-based business opportunities.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical and research initiatives.
- Support our scientists and engineers in thriving within both the company and the broader research community.
Our solutions process extensive datasets, including imagery and metadata, to create engaging and immersive experiences available on our platform.
This position is categorized as Remote, allowing you to work from a location of your choice within the United States.
In addition to a competitive salary, this role is eligible for equity awards based on experience, performance, and location.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A solid understanding of computer vision principles.
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field.
- A strong background in computer vision research, including model and algorithm development.
- Knowledge of 2D/3D geometry and experience with modern differentiable frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- The ability to mentor both junior and senior applied scientists.
