Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. As a senior therapist, you will be responsible for providing advanced physical therapy services to patients with complex conditions, utilizing innovative techniques and technologies to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions to alleviate movement-related impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct patient care, including gait and transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and equipment procurement and training.
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced therapists, interns, and students.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Two years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and adapt treatment programs.
  • Ability to evaluate patients and interpret clinical data and make clinical judgments.
