Job Summary

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team. As a senior therapist, you will be responsible for providing advanced physical therapy services to patients with complex conditions. Your expertise will be utilized to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients with complex conditions, including gait and transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their age, developmental considerations, cultural and psychosocial issues, and medical condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Supervise and train physical therapy interns and students, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their clinical skills.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of physical therapy and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in physical therapy, with a focus on complex case management.
  • Advanced clinical skills and expertise in treating patients with complex conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
