Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Nexus Health Systems. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrollment in nursing school preferred.
- At least six months of experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state where performing duties.
- CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
