Job Summary

Wilson County Government is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant II to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our licensed dentists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Assist dentists with chairside procedures, including exposing and developing radiographs.
  • Maintain accurate records and charts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a dental assistant in the State of Tennessee with Dental Radiology Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will be required to work in a clinical setting, exposed to various chemicals and equipment.
