Dental Hygienist Position

Gentle Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and root planing, gingivitis scaling, and prophylaxis.
- Perform comprehensive periodontal charts, medical history assessments, and caries risk assessments.
- Educate patients on hygiene treatments needed based on medical and periodontal assessments.
- Take digital radiographs as necessary for patient diagnosis.
- Assist in developing personalized treatment plans per patient need, based on assessments and dentist recommendations.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Engage patients in a friendly, reassuring manner, while addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment plans and completed procedures.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
- Education: Degree or certification in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- License: Valid state dental hygiene license.
- Other licenses/certifications: CPR, Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Laser Certification (where required).
