Key Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording and verifying financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Expense Reporting: Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support: Provide support during audits and assist in gathering documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of accounting experience. Internships or relevant coursework will be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Accounting Software: Experience with accounting software.
  • Internship Experience: Internship experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Basic Understanding of GAAP: Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
