The Leidos Innovation Center is in search of a Lead Program Scheduler to design and uphold Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for a Department of Defense Earned Value Management initiative.

This position collaborates with Cost Analysts, Financial Management, Program Management, Control Account Managers, and Clients to create and sustain an IMS.

This role reports to the Sector Scheduling Manager and integrates with the broader Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE).

The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a dedicated team responsible for executing essential functions related to scheduling, planning, EVMS, and the associated infrastructure, tools, training, and oversight for Leidos.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days of onsite support.


Key Responsibilities:


Utilize scheduling principles to formulate and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related documentation in accordance with scheduling best practices and relevant standards such as EVM standard EIA-748 and the Leidos Earned Value Management System Description (EVMSD).

Establish program scheduling business rhythms, develop baseline schedules and associated documentation to fulfill contractual/project obligations, and monitor, analyze, and report performance against established baseline schedules.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in project scheduling. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Demonstrated understanding of advanced scheduling theory (e.g., PASEG) including experience with:
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based)
schedule status processes
schedule health assessment (e.g., 14-Point Analysis)
resource loading/leveling and management
cost and schedule integration
baseline change control processes
project risk and opportunity integration
schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, SV, SPI, etc.)
Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)/Monte Carlo Analysis and tools
Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment alongside Cost Analysts, PMs, and CAMs.
