As a key member of our Generator Service & Maintenance Division, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain generator systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Interact with customers to provide exceptional service and support
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to resolve issues
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
- Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields, or equivalent experience
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus, but not required
