About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care services to our pediatric population. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in population health management and quality/safety activities, while delivering direct patient care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care services to pediatric patients under medical protocol
  • Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Engage in population health management and quality/safety activities
  • Educate patients regarding health promotion/illness prevention
  • Recommend appropriate community resources to meet patient/family needs
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare and social services professionals
  • Consult with the medical director as needed and adhere to prescribed medical protocols
  • Answer emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an NLN approved MSN Nurse Practitioner program in Pediatrics
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner OR graduation from a certified Nurse Practitioner program with three years of NP experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
