Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Creekside Insulation LLC. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing our daily operations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and coach/mentor new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum productivity.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive to help employees improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Handle conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Plan and organize daily activities related to service and operations to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure all vehicles and rigs are properly maintained and in good working order to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operations goals and make recommendations to management as needed.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for operations unit to ensure that expenses are controlled and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency and safety to ensure that all necessary supplies are available when needed.
  • Perform high-quality insulation removal and installation as needed and inspect jobs upon completion to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Enforce Koala Insulation operations manual and policies to ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with company procedures.
  • Ensure that all legally required documents are kept up to date and that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • Provide continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our business remains competitive.
Requirements:
  • Excellent managerial, leadership, and supervisory skills to motivate and direct employees to achieve their best performance.
  • Ability to maintain and project a positive attitude while working in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Prior knowledge of operations management to ensure that you can hit the ground running and make a positive impact on our business.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set service goals and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to ensure that you can effectively manage and analyze data.
  • Experience using a CRM preferred to ensure that you can effectively manage customer relationships and data.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish languages preferred, but not required to ensure that you can effectively communicate with a diverse range of customers and employees.
  • Experience with sales strongly preferred to ensure that you can effectively promote our services and products to customers.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or related field preferred, but not required to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the job duties effectively.
  • Five years of related experience required to ensure that you have the necessary experience and skills to perform the job duties effectively.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting to ensure that you can effectively perform the job duties.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the job site to ensure that you can effectively perform the job duties.
  • Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights to ensure that you can effectively perform the job duties.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds to ensure that you can effectively perform the job duties.

Supplemental pay types:
  • Bonus pay based on company performance to ensure that you are rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
Experience:
  • Construction: 5 years (Preferred) to ensure that you have the necessary experience and skills to perform the job duties effectively.
  • Managerial/Supervisory: 3 years (Preferred) to ensure that you have the necessary experience and skills to perform the job duties effectively.
License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Required) to ensure that you can effectively perform the job duties.
