Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the plasma collection process.
- Screen donors for eligibility and take vital signs, using our Donor Information System to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes, as needed.
- Work collaboratively with your management team to ensure a clean and professional work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. U.S. based employees may also be eligible for short-term incentives and paid volunteer time off.
