Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Artisan to join our team in West Maui, HI. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative pastry creations that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus that showcase our brand's unique flavor profiles and presentation styles.
• Lead a team of pastry chefs and bakers in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastries.
• Collaborate with our culinary team to create seasonal menus and specials that drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation in the pastry kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and bakers to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a high-volume pastry kitchen.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pastry programs and menus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
