Feather River Care Center is seeking a skilled Laundry Staff Member to join our team. As a key member of our laundry department, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality laundry service compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day activities of the laundry department to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Coordinate inventories of clothing and personal items brought in with new residents and mark them with proper identification.
  • Sort soiled laundry into appropriate loads for washing and prepare articles for washing by unbuttoning, turning pockets out, and unrolling sleeves.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • One year's work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.
