Radiologic Team Lead for Pediatric Imaging in Metro Detroit

The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) seeks a highly skilled Radiologic Team Lead to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to oversee the daily operations of our pediatric radiology department. As a Radiologic Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of work, delegating tasks, and guiding staff in carrying out their duties.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the daily activities of radiologic technologists and ensure that department standards are met.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve workflow efficiency and patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including quality control measures and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to new employees, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and competencies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
- Two years of progressively more responsible experience in radiologic technology.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
