Radiologic Technologist

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team. As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care through accurate and timely imaging services.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience. Our hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan and employee assistance program.
Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging
- Use radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- An associate's degree in radiologic technology
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
- Basic life support certification
