Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and their families professionally, delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff for emergency medical needs and address patient inquiries.
  • Gather necessary account information through patient interviews at the workstation or bedside.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient charts.
  • Verify insurance details and obtain necessary pre-certifications/authorizations.
  • Calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
  • Follow AIDET communication guidelines: Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of relevant experience.
