Job Description

Job Title: Women Stability Advisor

Location: Carlisle Barracks, PA

Duties:

  • Provide technical guidance on Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and gender issues to leaders.
  • Support planning and executing operations, activities, and initiatives.
  • Lead implementation efforts, including staff education and training on WPS strategy requirements.
  • Develop and integrate a public affairs communications strategy and advocacy plan for implementation plan roll-out.
  • Contribute to short, mid, and long-term operational plans and assessments, collective training, and exercises.
  • Review drafts of plans and updates for correctness and consistency with client, DoD, and Army goals.
  • Support development of Army framework and plan to implement WPS Strategy.
  • Assess and analyze future development and structures from a gender perspective.

Education/Qualification:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Possess a master's degree.
  • Complete professional military education course.
  • Have at least 2+ years of experience working with a US Armed Service or similar organization.
