About the Role

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at PROENERGY, you will be responsible for utilizing your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to perform precision machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You will provide updates utilizing our CMMS and inventory tracking systems. You will complete preventive and planned maintenance tasks, using equipment O & M manuals, schematics, and other drawings. You will use sophisticated measuring instruments for completing precision machine alignments. You will utilize analysis tools, such as oil sampling, vibration analysis, and thermal imaging to predict equipment failures and generate work requests for predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical repair of CNC Machinery, Manual Machines, Robotics, and Machining Center.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
  • Print reading and interpretation to include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical.
  • Properly use precision measuring tools for checking, verifying, and correcting machine alignments.
  • Perform machine alignments (conventional, laser, and electronic, etc.).
  • Identify types of common pumps and distinguish their application, troubleshooting and repairing procedures.
  • Provide daily reports and status updates.
  • Utilize CMMS system for generating and tracking daily activities.
  • Complete planned and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Use safe rigging practices.
  • Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician experience.
  • Knowledge of machine design and operation.
  • Ability to read part manuals, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides.
  • Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic repair abilities.
  • Knowledge of and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, side-by-sides, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability, motivation, and willingness to maintain current and develop new skills.
  • Work safely and effectively in a team environment, as well as with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Office computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and/or knowledge of welding, machining, milling, cutting, etc.
Additional Functions
  • Physical requirements: Ability to walk campus site, climb ladders, climb stairs, walk on uneven ground, lift a minimum of 50 lbs., and be exposed to sun and varied weather conditions regularly.
  • Mental requirements: Well organized, ability to multi-task, analyze/interpret, and make a rational decision, verbal, written, and math skills a must.
