Thew Associates PE-LS, PLLC, a prominent firm specializing in land and hydrographic surveying, is seeking dedicated CAD Operators to enhance our drafting team. Our organization, established in 1972, is renowned for delivering exceptional surveying services across New York State.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidates will collaborate closely with licensed Land Surveyors to undertake a variety of drafting tasks that support our diverse service offerings. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting document research and processing survey data.
- Creating digital terrain models and performing boundary line determinations.
- Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, with additional experience in MicroStation considered advantageous.
- Adapting to new technologies and methodologies in surveying.
We prefer candidates with the following educational background and skills:
- A.A.S. in Surveying Technology, B.S. in Surveying Engineering, or A.A.S. in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- A valid driver's license.
