We are seeking a skilled CAD & GPS Specialist to join our team at Kinas Excavating. As a CAD & GPS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design site-specific CAD files from blueprints for machine control
  • Set up jobsites for GPS equipment, find lot pins, sewer/water stubs, etc.
  • Set top of wall and footing heights for proposed projects
  • Export designs to machines and field check design
  • Troubleshoot machine control issues with the GPS
  • Project estimating
Requirements:
  • Experience with designing CAD files from blueprints and/or clean up provided CAD files
  • Ability to provide CAD file takeoffs for bids with yardage and gravel quantities
  • Proficiency in Trimble Business Center & Carlson Takeoff Software
  • Knowledge of surveying with the Trimble GPS Rover
