Job Summary

The Project Manager V is a key role responsible for overseeing multiple projects of moderate risk, scope, and complexity. This position involves developing new business opportunities and providing guidance to lower-level project managers.

Essential Functions
  • Supports Company Safety and Core Values: Actively promotes a safe working environment and adheres to the company's core values.
  • Represents the Company: Maintains high moral standards and adheres to the company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Liaison with Clients: Facilitates engineering and construction activities, including assessing scope of work and resources required to complete projects.
  • Project Representation: Represents the company at bid meetings, project meetings, and strategy meetings.
  • Project Planning: Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate boundaries.
  • Staffing and Supervision: Plans, organizes, and staffs key positions through operational department heads or subordinate project/construction managers.
  • Project Delivery: Supervises and monitors project delivery to ensure completion in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Technical Assistance: Provides technical assistance and recommends construction methods and equipment as required.
  • Financial Management: Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and maintains good relationships with clients.
  • New Business Development: Develops new business opportunities relative to specific clients, groups of clients, or geographical areas.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent education and 10 years of job-related experience.
  • Project Management Experience: 8+ years of job-related experience, with 4+ years of supervisory experience and project management/P&L experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Project Management Certification from PMI preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
