About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing mechanical support in response to operational changes resulting from equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, relocations, replacements, or modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment using tools and equipment provided
  • Follow all work safety policies and guidelines
  • Observe equipment operation and troubleshoot any malfunctions and/or safety issues
  • Perform PMs on equipment on a weekly basis and complete work orders as assigned
  • Adhere to all USDA and GMP product standards and guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain acceptable times for repairs and adjustments to the line
  • Utilize LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) as required when bypassing guards or servicing a piece of equipment

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in damp and cold environments as needed
  • Work with loud and noisy machinery as needed
  • Work in congested areas
  • Work in tight spaces to complete work
