Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Risk Assessor – Project Manager to enhance our operations at Moody and Associates, Inc. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive risk assessment management services to our clientele, facilitating their development and growth. Our clients depend on our proficiency to assess and mitigate potential adverse impacts on human health and ecological systems stemming from environmental stressors.

KEY SKILLS: EPA, Geology, Environmental Management, Land Development, Leadership, GIS, Mapping, Hydrogeology, Toxicology, Ecological Risk Assessment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and supervise the execution of human health risk assessments that adhere to regulatory standards, considering environmental legislation.
  • Maintain and cultivate client relationships by preparing proposals and managing various projects while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Engage in business development activities, including attracting new clients and securing repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal development, and executing a strategic business development plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Geology, GeoChemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory toxicology, consulting, or related environmental fields.
  • Proven experience in developing a business practice in risk assessment or regulatory toxicology, including client engagement and proposal preparation.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects with multiple internal resources, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Strong understanding of data quality objectives for human health and ecological risk assessments, with the ability to collaborate effectively on sampling plans.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service and building trust with clients, management, colleagues, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and enhance the technical capabilities of the team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
