Position Overview:


The Program Manager for Lean Six Sigma will spearhead operational excellence initiatives by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement strategies across various management levels to achieve productivity enhancements, cost savings, safety improvements, and quality advancements.

This role will emphasize Lean Enterprise principles in a structured and sustainable manner, simplifying business processes while meeting ambitious objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


- Develop a Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement strategy that includes thorough analysis and prioritization of key opportunities for each facility.

- Engage cross-functional teams at all organizational levels to execute initiatives that yield sustainable outcomes.

- Foster engagement and influence among key stakeholders across the organization.

- Participate actively in Gemba walks and shop floor activities to support proactive performance management and daily KPI monitoring.

- Conduct weekly and monthly performance assessments, analyses, and reporting.

- Provide Lean Six Sigma training at various levels, including Green Belt, Yellow Belt, and introductory training to enhance site capabilities and mentor Green Belt and Yellow Belt projects.

- Implement Lean Management systems such as Gemba, Kaizen, Daily Meetings, TPM, JIT, VSM, and Flow to achieve Best in Class Lean Maturity at the site.

- Lead Operational Excellence initiatives at the site, encompassing Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, and Project Management.

- Support commercialization efforts through collaboration with the IE and Lean teams to optimize new and modified products and technologies.

- Assist in Value Realization and Optimization efforts by providing resources and leadership for significant corporate initiatives.

- Collaborate with Project Engineering teams and Manufacturing Leadership to develop strategic investment plans, focusing on risk mitigation for capacity and capability gaps.

- Engage in the ideation, development, evaluation, recommendation, and execution of advanced technologies, including Robotics and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

- Ensure the dissemination of best practices and lessons learned both internally and externally.

- Utilize global communication platforms to share innovative ideas and local success stories within the supply chain network.

- Drive sustainable cultural and behavioral changes across the organization to foster a culture of Operational Excellence, Lean, and Continuous Improvement through coaching, mentoring, and influencing employees and business leaders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, along with certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred.

Experience:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial engineering or operations at a managerial level or higher.
