Job Summary:

The Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the direction and coordination of all functions in the unit, working closely with the unit Director or designee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling of personnel in the department.
  • Manage and fulfill day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee orientation of new staff members.
  • Augment staffing level on an as needed basis.
  • Participate and cooperate in the unit-based Quality Improvement processes.
  • Support, maintain, and provide an environment which is supportive of quality patient care through effective use of resources and personnel.

Requirements:

  • ADN or BSN or MSN degree.
  • RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
  • BCLS certification.
  • Two years clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
  • Ability to develop a staff schedule, critical thinking ability, and ability to cope with crisis and emergency situations.
