Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care.

**Responsibilities**

* Evaluate patient needs and develop an appropriate treatment plan
* Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
* Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
* Promote continuous quality improvement
* Teach and counsel patients/families

**Requirements**

* Must possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
* Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
* Current state licensure is required
* Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire

**Preferred Qualifications**

* One (1) year of related experience is preferred
