Position Summary:
Big Bolt is actively seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill an immediate opening. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Inspector will utilize various testing instruments to assess and verify that raw materials, manufactured products, and items returned from external services adhere to established specifications.
Key Duties:
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of product dimensions, including length and diameter, to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of all manufactured parts by executing necessary checks.
- Effectively utilize reference materials and resources (such as reference sheets).
- Communicate any product-related issues that do not meet standards to relevant departments.
- Document and track results in accordance with company protocols using computer systems and proprietary software.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to operate, clean, and maintain hand tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be capable of lifting weights between 5-25 lbs
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Potential for Overtime
- Weekend Availability
