Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve manufacturing workflows by applying quality metrics, focusing on efficiency and throughput.
  • Analyze production needs and machinery specifications to support operational goals.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate both automated and manual systems to streamline processes.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of manufacturing equipment.
  • Coordinate and manage resources effectively to optimize production schedules.
  • Integrate various systems, including equipment handling and logistics, to enhance operational synergy.
  • Improve facility layouts and production line configurations to maximize output and minimize waste.
  • Address and resolve production challenges and delays promptly.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout manufacturing processes.
  • Implement upgrades and improvements using the latest technological advancements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing engineering role or a similar capacity.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing is required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methodologies, fabrication techniques, and tool design.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and quality control practices.
  • Dedication to maintaining health and safety standards and adhering to environmental guidelines.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications, including CAD and MS Office.
  • Effective project management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended hours as needed.
  • A degree in Engineering is mandatory.
