Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a Spa Therapist. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our guests, ensuring their comfort and relaxation during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide massage services to guests using various techniques and modalities, including props and products.
  • Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service.
  • Keep up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to massage therapy.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations and treatment areas as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Promote and sell spa services, including retail offerings, to guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • State or regional massage license.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in a spa or wellness setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in massage therapy or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience in a spa or wellness setting.
